OTHERwise Research is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct, human rights, and labour practices across all aspects of our work. While our organisation does not meet the turnover threshold that makes Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 a legal requirement, we fully support its objectives and are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations or supply chains. We operate in fragile and conflict-affected settings where the risks of exploitation can be heightened, and we take proactive measures to prevent, identify, and address such risks.
This includes:
• Applying rigorous due diligence in our procurement, recruitment, and partnerships • Requiring all staff, consultants, and partners to adhere to our Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policies • Embedding ethical and human rights considerations in our research methodologies and field operations.
• Providing channels for confidential reporting of any concerns or violations Through our policies, training, and oversight, we strive to uphold human dignity, protect vulnerable populations, and ensure our work contributes to just and equitable systems.
